the Sabbath… I continue to learn how to rest… and the benefits of God’s Sabbath. Blessings to you Michelle!

Yes, Michelle, that’s the point. It’s a gift. We can’t work for it. We can only receive it. Funny, how sometimes we refuse such a lavish gift (to our own detriment). Thank you for the reminder.

What a beautiful photo, Michelle! I love the thought of our stopping in these moments in our day and treating it as a sabbath rest. We get to enter His rest and grace enables us to stay there. Thanks Michelle.

A stunning tribute to your sabbath intentions; hoping this spiritual practice is beginning to feel … hushed.

The Sabbath has lost it’s meaning for many. I love to take a day to rest.

I always know God is speaking to me about a topic when it comes from several angles. This is beautiful. My One Word for this year is “still,” and the Sabbath is playing such a huge role in that. I’ve also been really amazed by what God says about the Sabbath in Isaiah 58. Thank you for sharing!

Beautiful thinking, beautiful photo. And the Word, of course. I always look forward to seeing your Sat/Sun posts. Straight, to-the-point, and always worth smiling.
